VMA 46th Recognition Ceremony held
A MULTI-AWARDED Global College in Bacolod City held recently the recognition of some selected students with the highly recognized and successful VMA Alumni as Guest Speakers.
Led by its Chairman Atty. Juan N. Orola, Jr , Dr. Elizabeth O. Salabas, President., Vice Chairman Danilo P. Cruz, VP for Administration Epifania O. Balenia and VP for Academic Affairs Remedios, Johanna S. Vargas, and participated by its faculty and staff, VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc. held the 46th Recognition Ceremony of some 100 achievers at the VMA Gymnasium on March 22, 2019.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Atty. Juan N. Orola, Jr., proudly congratulates the awardees in his welcome remarks, while the College’s President Elizabeth O. Salabas, commended the parents who unceasingly imbued discipline to their children as also part of their training in VMA..
During the ceremony, the Maritime achievers were inspired by 2/M Melzar M. Arzaga, VMA alumnus 2007, who is now the 2nd Officer of Crew Care Incorporation.
2/M Arzaga shared the importance of Respect, Integrity and Loyalty for these 3 important attributes possessed by anyone will surely give a significant impact to his career in the future. Nevertheless, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledged Him, and He shall direct your path” , 2/M Arzaga quoted from Jeremiah 29:11.
Non- Maritime honorees diligently listened to Ms. Grace Delfin, also the college’s alumnus who is the Hotel Sales and Marketing Supervisor for Holiday Inn Express Manila, Maxim’s Hotel, Belmont Manila, Savoy Manila and Winford Manila Resort and Casino, remarkably said, “The three (3) major life’s changing lessons that I learned from this institution are the Power of Discipline, Decision making requires a proper mindset, and being Grateful always.”
“This event is not only for those who achieved something and pinned with medals but for everyone who strives hard to become a better person for with or without medals, you are all achievers”. Delfin, added.
The Keynote Speaker, C/ E Roger John J. Natial of Agostia Ship Manning, coined his message from one of his favorite stories which has a notable thoughts to ponder with a very important lessons in life.
C/E Natial said, “Rejoice, celebrate every little achievements that you have, maintain a thankful heart for we are maintaining a healthy image ready to face all the challenges in life.”
“There’s so much more reason to smile than to frown because our power to dream is limitless, thus we should enlarge our vision, but do not forget to ask for Divine providence because success in life entails a lot of sacrifices and criticisms but entrust everything to our Dear God Almighty”. He concluded.
Some one hundred (100) achievers were products of BS Marine Transportation, Marine Engineering, Tourism, Hospitality Management and Business Administration.
