Marañon urges capitol employees to support Lacson

GOVERNOR Alfredo Maranon urges capitol employees and department heads to give full support to the incoming administra­tion of Governorel­ect Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Marañon made the appeal during the recent Direction Setting Seminar for all department heads held in Hinoba-an town.

Provincial Acting Administra­tor Lucille Gelvolea said the results and inputs of the seminar for the plans of each department for 2019 and year 2020 will be submitted to Lacson for his perusal and that would depend on him if he adopts those plans.

Gelvolea also revealed that there is now an ongoing inventory of all the capitol properties, programs and projects which is being conducted by the Transition Team formed by Marañon based

on the circular of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Marañon has already formed the transition team in preparatio­n for the assumption to office of the next administra­tion.

The transition team in compliance with the circular from the DILG enjoining the local chief executives to prepare the financial, physical and inventory of all assets of the respective local government units.

The transition team is composed of the governor as chair, vice governor as vice chair and the department heads as members along with the DILG Provincial officer and representa­tive from the business sector.

Maranon will end his term on June 30.

Gelvolea said that Presumptiv­e Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is expected to field his transition team soon.

Lacson said that he is already preparing for his team that includes co-terminus officials like the City Administra­tor, City Lega Officer, Excutive Assistants and staff at the Governor’s Office.

Lacson’s inaugural with the new set of provincial officials is set on June 29.
