Rape suspect collared

A WANTED person for two counts of rape was arrested at Hacienda. Pusan., Brgy. 20, Victorias City.

The suspect was identified as Camilo Malinao, 51 years old of Brgy. 20, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.

Members of Victorias City Police Station led by Police Lieutenant Eduardo Corpuz, arrested the suspect by virtue of order of arrest for the crime of rape with no bail recommended and duly signed by Judge Ana Celeste Bernad of RTC Branch 69, Silay City.

The suspect was placed under the custodial facility of Victorias CPS for proper disposition

Meanwhile a person was killed and two others were wounded in a stabbing incident in Sitio Paktay, Brgy Cabacungan, La Castellana.

The fatality was identified as Conrado Lampaso who sustained stabbed wounds on his chest that caused his death.

Those who were injured were identified as Kenoy Lampaso and the suspect who was identified as Recardo Oga.

Based on police investigation, the Lampaso brothers were having a drinking session inside their house when the suspect entered and without provocation stabbed Condrado Lampaso hitting him on his left chest which resulted to his instantaneous death, then stabbed Kenoy Lampaso several times hitting in the different parts of his body. The suspect went home but was later brought by his family to Barangay Health Center of Brgy Cabacungan for the treatment of the stabbed wounds which he also incurred during the incident.*
