ROY YANSON CALLS FOR ONE CERES, UNITY

-

As the President of Vallacar Transit, Inc. known as Ceres Liner, I call on the employees for UNITY and COOPERATION with the new management. You have been a great part of the success and accomplishments of our corporation. this company started with the humble beginnings. It was built from scratch by the greatest man I have ever known; the loving father I will forever look up to, Doctor Ricardo B. Yanson, Sr., Honoris Causa, PHD, given by USLS Bacolod.

For 23 years, I have served this company along with my father. I am overwhelmed by your love and dedication to this company and our family. I want the public to know that this is a CORPORATION. By its very existence, all corporate acts and decisions are decided by the Board of Directors, not just by a SINGLE PERSON.

As a result of the Special Board Meeting last July 7, 2019, I am the President by the decision of the majority of the Board of Directors. Such decision was validly called and in accordance with our company by-laws and existing laws.

To my younger brother, Leo Rey, I urge you to respect the decision of the majority. Planting seeds of confusion, misinformation, misguidance, and even using intimidation and harassment through your subordinates, will only cause further harm and damage, not only to us, but to our beloved employees. You owe the company, employees and the riding public, the respect that you would have afforded our father.

The past weeks have been very difficult to a lot of people surrounding Vallacar Transit, Inc. I cannot put into words the challenges that I, my siblings, our dear mother, and our beloved employees have to wake up everyday. Despite everything, I know that I should stand my ground as the newly designated President of Vallacar Transit, Inc., not only because the lives of our toiling employees depend on this company but most importantly because there are people whom we have pledged to serve and that is you, our riding public.

Please know that I will not let this situation hurt the legacy of our father. Since then, we promised to serve you by providing safe, reliable and affordable public transportation. Now more than ever, we will continue to deliver this kind of service because you deserve nothing less. We understand your plight as our riding public. We never wanted to burden you with unnecessary confusion. Thus, no matter where we are right now, I can assure you that we will continue to serve you not only because it is our duty but also because to us, you are family.

I continue to pray that you never get tired of understanding the company's situation. I thank you greatly for your support all through these years. Allow us to pay you back by serving you with INTEGRITY AND LOYALTY.

To my dearest Mom, the past months have been heavy and painful for us to endure.

These past few years, we may have had our own share of difficulties and misunderstandings, but mom, this is normal in a family owned company. the only way we can conquer these problems is by coming together not against each other.

Mom, this is not a time to take sides. We must set aside our differences and instead work together to ensure that the legacy of our father remains to be the foundation of the companies he had built with the help of all those who had stayed and served our family. We must remember that it is not only our lives that are affected but also the loves of thousands. The lives of our beloved employees and the service we give to the community.

As a company, we are ONE. As a family, we are ONE.
