9 nabbed in Bacolod drug busts

NINE drug personalit­ies in Bacolod City were arrested in separate drug bust operations of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on Wednesday.

Police identified the suspects as Mark Dilly, 18, of Barangay 10; Jomel Bordon, 44, of Barangay 10; Edrian Pango, 25, of Barangay 12; Abraham Anoche, 29, of Barangay 10; Fernando Delagante, 30 of Barangay 10; Chernil Alib, 36, of Barangay 10; Art Duadores, 19, of Barangay 2; Charo Canlas, 36, of Barangay 2; and Arturo Duadores, 23, of Barangay Bata, all of Bacolod City.

BCPO, said Dilly and his companions Pango, Anoche, Delagante, Bordon, Delagante, and Alib were arrested by operatives of Police Station 7 led by Police Major Sherlock Gabana after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover at San Juan-burgos, Mambuloc, Barangay 10 at about 9:15 p.m.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 19 sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P40,500, the P500 marked money, and drug parapherna­lia.

Pico said Duadores and his companions Canlas and Arturo were also arrested by operatives of Police Station 2 led by Police Captain Leo Estopa at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 at about 10:45 p.m.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession three sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P24,000, the P100 marked money, and coin purse.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facilities of Police Stations 2 and 7 and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./MAP
