A continuous 'ber' magic happy feeling for all of us!

E MAY say, “There is no Santa Claus or that the real Santa Claus is our parents.” If we don’t believe in magic, that’s okay but that’s like doing away 50 percent of the joys of life. Because the world is full of magic things patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.

Most of us are not sure anymore whether to believe in Santa Claus. And the wordings of the Christmas song “I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus” reinforces our doubts about him. There is no proof there is really a Santa Claus. But it’s the thought that counts which is wrapped in magic, tug at our heartstrings for reasons we don’t completely understand.

Fortunately, our belief in Santa Claus during Christmas makes us want to be good people, our hearts become light, thus, we experience every year the “ber” magic happy feeling that nothing in this world can buy.

Then there’s just something about Christmas melody that touches my heart and the lyrics make my heart jump a few beats faster when the piped-in-music in shopping malls begin to play “Christmas roasting in an open fire...jack Frost nibbling at the snow...” Christmas music has its magic happy effect on me and I suppose with you also.

Christmas is soon to come. Everywhere we go suggests preparation with regards to gifts, food stuff, menus and all things relevant to our traditional celebration. We list our needs for all aspects of the holiday season. Of course, the major concern is food. Inevitably, the cost of food stuff would escalate as December approaches.

Not to panic - budget permitting, we can buy an item or two every week as we go through our regular supermarket chores. This should be the case as well as with our other requirements for our celebration. It will be good to check if some holiday items are available on sale now. It is always best to prepare early for the most wonderful time of the year.

In these “ber” months of our continuous magic happy feeling, we celebrate the message of Christmas most of all that “Jesus Christ who offers eternal hope is born so that in Him the real hope is realized and when He died and rose again, He grants those who are His access to that hope in eternity: time would heal all hearts, right would always win and love would never end.”*
