Over P331K shabu seized in Bacolod

AN ESTIMATED P331, 800 worth of shabu or methamphet­amine hydrochlor­ide was seized in separate drug bust operations of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in Bacolod City from January 19 to 20.

The operations also led to the arrest of Ian Dionson, 40, of Barangay Mansilinga­n; Lyn Mari Co, 36, of Barangay Singcang-airport; Ronnie Cordero, 32, of Barangay Singcang-airport; Raymond Viajedor, 40, of Barangay Vista Alegre; Glendon Villarin, 27, of Barangay 12; Arturo Villacuatr­o, 44, Larry Villacuatr­o, 48, both residents of Barangay 28; Michael Libre, 42, of Barangay Vista Alegre; and Deche Rose Duadores, 22, of Barangay 2.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokespers­on of BCPO, said Dionson and Co were arrested by operatives of Police Station 1 after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover in front of a pension house at Barangay 12 around 1:50 a.m. yesterday.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession nine sachets of shabu and one knot tied plastic sachet of shabu weighing 6.6 grams with estimated market value of P93, 280, the P500 marked money and drug parapherna­lia.

Dionson was identified as a high value individual while his companion, Co, was also identified as a street level individual in Bacolod City.

Cordero, Viajedor and Villarin were also arrested by operatives of Police Station 5 at Purok Mainabyano­n, Barangay Singcang-airport around 12: 30 a.m. yesterday.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession six sachets of shabu weighing seven grams with an estimated market value of P87,000 and the marked money.

The Arturo’s siblings were also arrested by operatives of Police Station 6 at Purok Kawayanan, Barangay 28, Tuesday evening.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession six sachets of shabu weighing three grams with estimated market value of P36,000, the P500 marked money, drug parapherna­lia and improvised firearm.

Libre was also cornered by operatives of Police Station 7 at Bangga Celita, Barangay Alijis Tuesday evening.

Police recovered from Libre’s possession four sachets of shabu weighing six grams with estimated market value of P40, 800, and the 400 marked money.

Duadores was arrested by operatives of Police Station 2 at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 around 1:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Police recovered from Duadores’s possession three sachets of shabu weighing 11 grams with estimated market value of P74, 800, the P500 marked money and drug parapherna­lia.

The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of Police Stations 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7. They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehens­ive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
