Silay, La Carlota win Governor’s cup 3x3 basketball tournament
NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson led the awarding of winners of the Governor’s Cup Inter-lgu 3x3 Basketball Tournament held in Talisay City yesterday, November 14.
La Carlota City bagged the championship in the 16-under category, followed by Talisay City and San Carlos City placing second and third, respectively.
Steve Anton Yanson was named Most Valuable Player (MVP)
In the 19-under catergory, Silay City edged out the basketball players of Pulupandan, who only placed second, and that of Victorias City who won the third place.
Jule Garcia was named MVP in that category
Provincial Sports Coordinator Anthony Carlo Agustin, Talisay City Sports Coordinator Marvin Tan, Talisay City councilors, and other guests, assisted in the awarding ceremony.*
