136K in ‘shabu’ seized in San Carlos City
AN ESTIMATED P136,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a drug bust operation by operatives of San Carlos City Police Station at Ylagan Extension, Barangay 6, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental at about 11:20 a.m. yesterday, November 29.
The operation also led to the arrest of Charles Castro, 20; Jason Sabellano, 22; Orly Escuardo, 32; and Christian Fajardo, 18, all residents of San Carlos City.
San Carlos City Police Station records showed the suspects were arrested after one of them sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 24 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams, P1,100 marked money, and drugs paraphernalia.
The police said Castro, Sabellao and Escuardo were identified as street level individuals in San Carlos City.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facility of San Carlos City Police Station.
They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
