Cus­tomer stabs ba­lut ven­dor

A BA­LUT ven­dor was in­jured af­ter he was stabbed by his cus­tomer at Cross­ing Tabao in Barangay Tabao, Val­ladolid, Ne­gros Occidental Wed­nes­day night.

Po­lice iden­ti­fied the vic­tim as Erano Dioso, 44, of Barangay Felisa, Ba­colod City

In­ves­ti­ga­tion showed the vic­tim was vend­ing peanuts and ba­lut us­ing his tri­cy­cle at Cross­ing Tabao when Sal­vador Ornillo, 51, asked him about the price of the peanuts.

When Dioso an­swered him, the sus­pect com­plained about the ex­pen­sive price of peanuts and punched the vic­tim on his left jaw.

The po­lice said Dioso stepped down from his tri­cy­cle, but the sus­pect sud­denly stabbed him on his left fore­head.

Dioso tried to seek as­sis­tance in a re­pair shop in the area, but the sus­pect chased him and stabbed him again on his left chest.

The vic­tim was rushed to Val­ladolid District Hos­pi­tal, but later trans­ferred to Co­ra­zon Loc­sin Motelibano Memo­rial Re­gional Hos­pi­tal.

Ornillo was also ar­rested in a fol­low-up op­er­a­tion and de­tained at the cus­to­dial fa­cil­ity of Val­ladolid Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice Sta­tion./ MAP
