Academy of Multi-skills be­stows Tan doc­tor­ate fel­low ti­tle

BA­COLOD City Coun- cilor Ri­cardo Tan was cho­sen among the awardees in the coun­try to be con­ferred as a doc­tor­ate fel­low by the Academy of Multi-skills based in the United King­dom.

Tan will re­ceive such ti­tle at the 1st Global Con­fer­ment Cer­e­mony to be held at the Manila Golf and Coun­try Club on Oc­to­ber 24.

Tan was nom­i­nated by Ed­uardo Ong of the Academy of Multi-skills with the ap­proval of the Academy Board, be­stow­ing him the high­est of seven types of mem­ber­ship and the top­most of the fel­lows - the Doc­tor­ate ti­tle.

Dr. Herbert Wol­lier, pres­i­dent of Academy of Multi-skills, said the award is be­ing be­stowed to in­di­vid­u­als who are ex­perts in busi­ness re­search and strate­gies and it is the high­est of mem­ber­ships for the ex­pert of the ex­perts only and those who ex­celled in var­i­ous ar­eas of cat­e­gories like the hands-on ex­ec­u­tives who have be­come ex­perts of ex­perts.

Tan, for his part, felt hon­ored to be in­cluded in the ros­ter of ex­perts by the Academy.

Tan will be the first in Ba­colod to be hon­ored with such ti­tle.*
