6 ex-rebels to receive gov’t aid
SIX former rebels who surrendered to the 62nd Infantry Battalion and 3rd Civil-military Operations Battalion are set to receive assistance from the government on June 3.
The assistance will be given after the former rebels undergo the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) “Project Identification Workshop”, a requirement prior to the release of P50,000.00 worth of Livelihood Assistance of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
This is the second step in E-CLIP implementation after the awarding of Reintegration Assistance last February 18, 2019 by the Provincial Department of Interior and Local Government (PDILG).
The provincial government has been inviting rebels to go back to the folds of the government so that they could live a normal life with their families./tde
