Love your­self and ‘Glow Up’ in GMA News TV’S lat­est life­style and beauty show

BE­GIN­NING June 9 (Sun­day), GMA News TV in­spires view­ers to em­power them­selves in­side and out in the new­est life­style and beauty show Glow Up.

With the help of style and beauty coun­cil mem­bers Ka­puso ac­tress and 2017 Primera Filip­ina Reina His­panoamer­i­cana Tere­sita Ssen “Win­wyn” Mar­quez, model-turned-ac­tress Michelle Dee, and Miss Eco In­ter­na­tional 2018 Thia Thoma­lla,glow Up takes view­ers on a guided jour­ney in build­ing their self-es­teem, lov­ing them­selves, and up­grad­ing their style.

Win­wyn shares some tips on beauty and con­fi­dence. Michelle would show­cases her skills on mod­el­ing and pho­tog­ra­phy. Thia im­parts knowl­edge on fash­ion and makeup. They also pro­vide ac­cess to in­dus­try pro­fes­sion­als for the Glow Up trans­for­ma­tion that our view­ers need.

“Iba-iba kami ng personalit­ies at ex­pe­ri­ences. We each have our own set of skills na maaar­ing may matu­tu­nan ang view­ers natin,” shares Win­wyn in an in­ter­view.

“Aside from en­hanc­ing your phys­i­cal ap­pear­ance, we also want our view­ers and guests to im­prove them­selves in­ter­nally. We want them to re­al­ize that change is a good thing,” says Thia.

Michelle also says that the dig­i­tal plat­form of Glow Up is very ben­e­fi­cial to its view­ers. “With the grow­ing ben­e­fits of the on­line world, Glow Up can eas­ily be ac­ces­si­ble for women to tune into with its tu­to­ri­als as ex­clu­sive on­line con­tent,” she adds.

In the show’s pi­lot episode, the style coun­cil gives Ni­cole Syd­ney Chan an ex­pe­ri­ence of a life­time by in­tro­duc­ing her to the glam team of her ul­ti­mate idol, Queen of Creative Col­lab­o­ra­tions Heart Evan­ge­lista. The Ka­puso ac­tress’ makeup artist Al­bert Kur­ni­awan and hair stylist Jeck Aguilar make Ni­cole’s dream come true as they give her a makeover. Ni­cole also gets styled ala #Love­mariexwhit­es. Will she be able to meet Heart as well?
