Capi­tol tight­ens se­cu­rity for in­au­gu­ra­tion

CAPI­TOL se­cu­rity is tight­ened today for the in­au­gu­ra­tion and oath tak­ing of the newly-elected pro­vin­cial of­fi­cials lead by Gov­er­nor Eu­ge­nio Jose Lacson and Vice Gov­er­nor Jef­frey Fer­rer in front of the Pro­vin­cial Capi­tol Build­ing.

Ven­chito Ma­ga­lona, head of Capi­tol Se­cu­rity re­vealed that the South Capi­tol Road will serve as the main en­trance for all the guests and it would be the load­ing and un­load­ing area while the South Capi­tol Road will serve as the park­ing area and at the front Capi­tol Hos­tel.

Ma­ga­lona said that in­vi­ta­tions were given to guests who will be al­lowed in­side the venue.

He said that the South Capi­tol Road will be closed to traf­fic start­ing 9:00 a.m. today per per­mit they ac­quired from the Ba­colod Traf­fic Authority Of­fice.

Anti- coal rally to usher Inau­gu­rals.

Ma­ga­lona said that if there should be ral­ly­ists, they will be dealt with max­i­mum tol­er­ance.

An anti-coal 'si­lent rally' at the Capi­tol La­goon Park will greet the in­au­gu­ra­tion today.

Jun­jun Mo­jica, one of the or­ga­niz­ers of the rally said Coal-free Ne­gros and Youth for Cli­mate Hope will be the lead group in today's mass action that will protest the pro­posed 300 megawatt coal-fired power plant in San Car­los City.*
