P109,800 ‘shabu’ seized
AN estimated P109,800 worth of shabu or methamphitamine hydrocloride was seized in separate drug bust operations of Bacolod City Office (BCPO) in Bacolod City from June 30 to July 1.
The operations also led to the arrest of three drug personalities identified as Nicol Fang; Davon Palmer; and Roberto Torres, all residents of Bacolod City.
Fang was arrested by operatives of Police Station 6 after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover at about 1 a.m yesterday.
Police recovered from Fang’s possession four sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P50,000, and the P200 marked money.
On Sunday evening, Palmer was also arrested by operatives of Police Station 6 at Purok Ipil-ipil, Barangay 28.
Police recovered from Palmer’s possession 16 sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P25,000, and the P300 marked money.
Operatives of Police Station 4 also arrested Torres at Hervias 2, Barangay Villamonte at about 10:40 p.m. on Sunday.
Police recovered from Torres’s possession three sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P34,800, and the P500 marked money.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facilities of Police Stations 4 and 6 and are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Druhs Act of 2002.
