CSC con­fers NegOcc with PRIME-HRM Bronze Award

THE Pro­vin­cial Gov­ern­ment of Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal through its Hu­man Re­source Man­age­ment Of­fice (HRMO) has been con­ferred with the Pro­gram to In­sti­tu­tion­al­ize Mer­i­toc­racy and Ex­cel­lence in Hu­man Re­source (PRIME-HRM) Bronze Award by the Civil Ser­vice Com­mis­sion through Res­o­lu­tion No. 1801457 dated De­cem­ber 4, 2018.

The award was re­ceived by Hu­man Re­source Man­age­ment Of­fice Head Atty. An­abelle Palic and Chief of Staff of the Gover­nor Dr. Jonathan Lo­ba­ton at the Philip­pine In­ter­na­tional Con­ven­tion Cen­ter (PICC) in Manila, Wed­nes­day.

On March 14, 2019, the CSC na­tional of­fice con­firmed the rec­om­men­da­tion of its re­gional of­fice to con­fer the PRIMEHR Bronze Award – Ma­tu­rity Level II Ac­cred­i­ta­tion af­ter go­ing through a se­ries of assessment and eval­u­a­tion last Oc­to­ber 2425, 2018.

The award con­firms that the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment’s PRIME-HRM is com­pli­ant with the Level 2- Ma­tu­rity In­di­ca­tors in four (4) core HR Sys­tems par­tic­u­larly Re­cruit­ment, Se­lec­tion and Place­ment

(RSP), Learn­ing and De­vel­op­ment, Per­for­mance Man­age­ment and Re­wards and Recog­ni­tion in the En­hanced PRIME-HR us­ing three lenses, namely: Sys­tems, Prac­tices and Com­pe­ten­cies.

PRIME-HRM is a ban­ner pro­gram of the CSC that aims to suc­cess­fully trans­form the agen­cies’ HRM sys­tem, com­pe­ten­cies, and prac­tices to el­e­vate pub­lic sec­tor HR to a level of ex­cel­lence for good gov­er­nance and for ef­fi­cient and ef­fec­tive pub­lic ser­vice de­liv­ery.

Aside from the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment, the cities of Bago and San Car­los were also among the 103 LGUS, GOCCS, and SUCS all over the coun­try who re­ceived the award.

The said award grants the pro­vin­cial gov­ern­ment the au­thor­ity to ap­prove ap­point­ments, sub­ject to post au­dit and en­dorse­ment or rec­om­men­da­tion for schol­ar­ship grant of­fered by other in­sti­tu­tions, among oth­ers./pr
