P54K shabu seized in Bacolod drug busts
AN ESTIMATED P54,000 worth of shabu or methamphitamine hydrochloride was seized in separate drug bust operations of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in Bacolod City Thursday evening.
The operations also led to the arrest of the three drug personalities identified as Clarence Margen; Jason Jamonong and JR Montanez, all are residents of Bacolod City.
Police Major Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, said that Margen was arrested by operatives of Police Station 10 at Phase 6-B, Barangay Handumanan at about 9:20 p.m.
Police recovered from Margen’s possession four sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P20,000.
Pico said that Jamonong and Montanez were also arrested by operatives of Police Station 8 in Gardenville, Barangay Tangub at about 10:15 p.m.
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 11 sachets of shabu with estimated market value of P34,000.
The suspects are detained at the custodial facilities of Police Stations 8 and 10 and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./MAP
