GMA Net­work of­fers all-new primetime line-up this Septem­ber

GMA Net­work un­veils an ex­cit­ing and all-new line-up of primetime shows beginning this Septem­ber that will bring drama, ac­tion, and kilig to the next level!

Kick­ing off the Ka­puso Net­work’s string of primetime of­fer­ings is ‘Beau­ti­ful Jus­tice’ beginning Septem­ber 9. Jus­tice never looked this beau­ti­ful as the new­est drama-ac­tion se­ries is head­lined by five of GMA’S prime and most sought-af­ter stars. Multi-ta­lented ac­tress and en­tre­pre­neur Bea Binene as Kitkat, Global En­dorser Gabbi Gar­cia as Brie, and 32nd PMPC Star Awards for Tele­vi­sion Best Drama Ac­tress Yas­mien Kurdi as Alice are brought to­gether by the tragic death of their loved ones. Ver­sa­tile ac­tor and Ka­puso hunk Der­rick Monas­te­rio and in­ter­na­tional model-turned-ac­tor Gil Cuerva take on the roles of Philip­pine Drug En­force­ment Agency (PDEA) agents Lance and Vin, re­spec­tively. The se­ries tells the story of three women who will unite to track down the syn­di­cate re­spon­si­ble and seek jus­tice for ev­ery­thing they lost.

On Septem­ber 16, Ka­puso prime ac­tor Alden Richards will once again show­case his act­ing cal­i­bre as he takes on the role of Sep—a vis­ually-im­paired fruit ven­dor in Divi­so­ria who dis­cov­ers his abil­ity to see the past and the fu­ture. ‘The Gift’ cen­ters on hope, trans­for­ma­tion, and in­spi­ra­tion. Helmed by LA Madride­jos, the drama also stars El­iz­a­beth Oropesa, Mi­kee Quin­tos, Jo Berry, Rochelle Pangili­nan, Be­tong Su­maya, Martin del Rosario, Thia Thoma­lla, Ys­abel Ortega, Te­tay, and Ms. Jean Gar­cia.

For their first-ever primetime project, Ken Chan and Rita Daniela are team­ing up for ‘One of the Baes’, a mil­len­nial fairy­tale that will take view­ers on a voy­age of love. Pro­duced by GMA Pub­lic Af­fairs, it will show­case the ups and downs of our Filipino Sea­far­ers through the story of Jowa­lyn (Rita) and Grant (Ken). Grant is a rich yet kind­hearted en­vi­ron­men­tal vlog­ger while Jowa­lyn is a brave young woman who dreams of some­day be­com­ing the cap­tain of a ship.

Com­plet­ing the Ka­puso primetime slate is the toprat­ing Korean hit drama ‘Mr. Sun­shine’ which cen­ters on a young boy who is born into slav­ery but es­capes to the United States and re­turns to Joseon later as a United States Ma­rine Corps of­fi­cer. The much-awaited drama airs on Septem­ber 2, star­ring Hol­ly­wood ac­tor Lee Byung Hun as Eu­gene Choi, meets and falls in love with an aris­to­crat's daugh­ter named Go Ae-sin, played by Kim Tae-ri. At the same time, he uncovers a plot by for­eign forces to col­o­nize Korea. To save his na­tion, he be­comes an in­stru­ment in fight­ing for free­dom, along­side the love of his life.

View­ers should also look for­ward to the re­turn of the much-loved, award-win­ning ro­mance an­thol­ogy ‘Wa­gas’ on Septem­ber 2—this time around as a daily se­ries air­ing be­fore Eat Bu­laga. Wa­gas will once again tug at the hearts of Ka­puso view­ers as it now fea­tures sto­ries that will run for one month. For its pi­lot episode, multi-ta­lented Ka­puso ac­tress Sun­shine Di­zon and Ka­puso ac­tor Mike Tan re­unite on the small screen for “Throwback Pag-ibig”.

Last but def­i­nitely not the least, GMA Net­work’s mu­si­cal com­pe­ti­tion ‘The Clash’ opens its doors once again to all ta­lented Filipinos who want to be­come the coun­try’s next singing sen­sa­tion. Every Satur­day and Sunday beginning Septem­ber 21, wit­ness the jour­ney of the Top 64 con­tenders as they clash to ful­fill their dreams. With Asia’s Pop Diva Julie Anne San Jose and To­tal Heart­throb Rayver Cruz as the new­est Clash Mas­ters, they will be joined by re­turn­ing The Clash judges Asia’s Nightin­gale Lani Misalucha, Asia’s Ro­man­tic Bal­ladeer Chris­tian Bautista, and Com­edy Con­cert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas. Ken Chan and Rita Daniela are also set to add color to the show as The Clash Jour­ney hosts.
