UB, UC, SLU reign in BBEAL

WITH both a three win and zero loss standing in the women’s category, the University of Baguio and the University of the Cordillera­s are both reign supreme in the second phase of the Baguio Benguet Educationa­l Athletic League.

UB earlier routed the Philippine Military Academy in an easy win as they cruised past the Cordillera Career Developmen­t College in a three-straight set on Saturday while the UC Jaguars and SLU Navigators secured victories over the Baguio College of Technology Atoms and the Kings College of the Philippine­s’ Lancers as the UC Jaguars disposed off the Pines City Colleges Warriors.

Host Philippine Military Academy together with Benguet

State University and CCDC will be in dispute for the second place in the win-loss status as they all hope to silence the BCT Atoms early in the game.

Meanwhile, the three power house schools are expected to meet as SLU is set against UC in a Valentines’ Day face off.

Amidst losing to UC and SLU, the BCT Atoms won over the PCC warriors in an easy three set as the Philippine Military Academy needed a fifth set to get past the University of the Philippine­sBaguio.

In the men’s category, SLU dominated over the CCDC Admirals as UC won its bod against the BSU wildcats with UC starting with the right rhythm to beat the Baguio Central University Eagles.

Eliminatio­n rounds are set to end as the UB Lady Cardinals go against the UP Lady Maroons while the SLu Lady Navigators face off with the BCU Lady Eagles as the PCC Lady Warriors see action against the KCP Lancers at the PMA Jurado Hall for the Valentines Day game time.
