The project, dubbed as the Luzon Cultural Sensitivity Manual was made in tandem with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

The manual puts into perspective how indigenous groups should be reported as well as the manner of reporting which practitioners must adhere to.

In July, the CNA conducted a training which gathered over 100 media practitioners, bloggers, educators and information officers for a two day training with representatives from the seven IP groups researched on.

The training aimed to validate findings and research and gather media to meet the IP leaders to formulate doable guidelines on coverage.

CNA is a 30 –year old organization based in Baguio City composed of media practitioners, members of the academe with both private and government representatives bound by the common goal of bringing to the public issues and advocacies in the mountain region.
