Sinipsip Elementary School joined the third benguet teacher’s day convergence

TEACHERS from Sinipsip Elementary School headed by Mencio G. Sapitan, Ed.D., participated in the celebration of Benguet Teacher’s Day last September 29, 2017 at Benguet Multipurpose Gym, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet with the theme “Gurong Pilipino: Kaakbay sa Progreso”. This is in accordance to the passed and approved Provincial Ordinance No.15-170 that declared every last Friday of September every year as Teacher’s Day in the Province of Benguet. Governor Crescencio C. Pacalso declared that there will be no classes in all level in public and private schools in the province to give time for the Department of Education (DepEd) family that included non-teaching personnel, all principals, head teachers and teachers converge and celebrate their day.

The activity started with a simultaneous motorcade from Bell Church and a parade of participants coming from different districts of Benguet in their respective color-coded shirts from Benguet Capitol to the venue. After which, regional directors from DepEd, TESDA, CHED as well as government officials headed by Gov. Pacalso inspired the participants with their messages.

In addition, the most outstanding teachers, school heads, supervisor, non-teaching level one and level two, the most harmonious school, and best curriculum implementer for public and private elementary and secondary and multigrade school were recognized and awarded with certificates.
