BCPO stands against scalawags

-

THE PNP has created a Counter Intelligence Task Force (CITF) to closely monitor police officers who are reportedly hooked into illegal activities, and is mandated to arrest and file charges against them.

Baguio City Police Office City Director Police Senior Superintendent Ramil Saculles said that "He is one with the mission of PNP Director General Ronaldo Dela Rosa in cleaning its ranks from police rogues in order to regain the trust and confidence of the public to the organization.

Based on the latest nationwide report 50 police officers have been arrested and 44 were charged with criminal and administrative cases, as part of the internal cleansing program of the PNP.

Saculles added that "The creation of PNPCITF clearly shows that the PNP is serious in its mission of cleaning its ranks from police scalawags, and does not tolerate any form of abuse committed by its members".

Most of the cases filed against police scalawags were reported to be criminal and administrative in nature.

BCPO encourages the public to support the PNP and its programs on Anti-Criminality, Anti-Corrupt

Practices, and Abuse of Authority and provide information on any illegal activities, especially those involving PNP members.

Saculles said police complaints can be directed to the BCPO's social media platform Twitter @PNPBaguio or pcrbbcpo@yahoo.com, or through the following numbers BCPO Tactical Operation Center 442-1211, 442-7944 or through 0920-4222861 for complaints against erring policemen.
