Hotheaded driver causes accident

-

THE Baguio City Police Office reminds motorists to restrain themselves from having arguments with fellow motorists.

On November 19 in the afternoon a taxi driver identified as Teodoro Gapuz Aspuria, 43 years of age and a resident of Leonila Hill, Baguio City filed a complaint of maltreatment against Police Auxiliary Beatman Jeherson Nisperos Ines, 38 years of age , assigned with the BCPO-TEU.

Based on the complaint, while Aspuria was waiting for the traffic light to turn into "GO" position at the U- shape overpass inbound going to Magsaysay Avenue, a Red Toyota Innova began blowing its horn which irritated the complainant.

As soon as the traffic signal turned into green, the complainant began to accelerate while the suspect swung his arms hitting the right side mirror of Aspuria's taxi while passing through.

Due to suspect’s action, the complainant went out of the vehicle and confronted the suspect followed by verbal tussle.

But when Aspuria went back inside his taxi, Ines began to follow him and began attacking the complainant by unleashing several blows hitting his chest.

After the commotion, both parties proceeded to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center for their respective medical examinations and Medico legal certificates.

They were then escorted by personnel of Traffic Enforcement Unit to Police Station 7 for the proper disposition of the case which was ready for inquest proceedings. Jonathan Llanes
