New fighters added for Highland Brawl 2

BARRING any last minutes injuries by its fighters, it’s all systems go for the second staging of Highland Brawl 2: War in the North slated November 26 at the CCDC Gymnasium.

The boxoff will feature an eight round match-up between undefeated Ifugao boxer KJ Natuplag taking on Danilo Pena who will be vying for the vacant OPBF featherwei­ght title as part of the Adivay Festiva of Benguet.

Added in the six rounder match up are Enrique Magsalin of Baguio City againts Romeo Tenorio of Sarangani province. Both fighters will compete in the 109 lbs.

La Trinidad’s Orlandino Sinaloba tests Bryan Padolina of Bacoor, Cavite while MJ Uduna of Ifugao

against Joemil Esquijo of Makati while Christophe­r Bay-an of Atok, Benguet seeks a victory against Rosendo Autida of La Trinidad in their four round flyweight bout.

Raising the curtain in the profession­al bout is Kathleen Paptie of Itogon taking on Renalyn Dacquel of Abra in the women’s super flyweight.

Eight amateur bouts will also be featured in the second edition of Highland Brawl with Esli Saclag of Abra taking on Jonathan Soriano of La Trinidad in the 40 kilogram division as Chris Caday of Buguias tangles with Hope Ignas of Atok in the 65kg weight class.

Gilbert Dionisio of La Trinidad battles Eugene Tuguinay of Itogon in the 49 kgs class as Jones Catalino of Buguias squares off against Mark Autida of La Trinidad in the 52kg division.

Bryan Caw-as of Kapangan is set to clash against Roy Domigsi of La Trinidad in the 60kg division with Zak Kaiser Moga of Itogon battling Chim Apopot of Kibungan in the 58 kg weight class.

Christophe­r Miguel of Tuba will face off against Bradley Delmas of La Trinidad in 55kg division while Italy’s Andrea Cola will also see action in the 70 kg division against Judy Kimpaoy.
