Ninth most wanted arrested

CORDILLERA regions ninth most wanted person and two others listed in the provincial and municipal level were successive­ly arrested in the first three days of December this year.

Charged for the crime of rape, Santiago Liano Ananayo, 23, a resident of Zig Zag Kennon Road, Barangay Camp 7, Baguio City was arrested at Sitio Uabac Kennon Road, Barangay Camp 7, Baguio City in the morning of December 3 by the joint elements of Baguio City Police Station 8, CIDMU, PIB-Mountain Province and Sabangan Municipal Police.

In Mountain Province, the number one top most wanted person identified as Roy Babaran Mattallog, 36, a resident of Purok 6, Culalabat, Cauayan, Isabela was nabbed for child abuse was pinned down at Ambasing, Sagada, Mountain Province in the afternoon of December 1.

Kalinga’s ninth top most wanted person identified as Johny Laos Palangdao, 42, and a resident of Lacnog, Tabuk City was collared for frustrated murder.

In San Juan, Abra,

after several months of hiding from the law, the province's ninth most wanted person identified as Jerry Timbreza Librado, 42, laborer, charged for three counts of rape finally landed in jail after he was arrested in Barangay Sun Valley, Parañaque City in the morning of December 2.

The intensifie­d cam- paign of PRO-Cordillera against most wanted persons is in line with the program of the national government in crime reduction is proof of its sustained anti-criminalit­y operations to keep the communitie­s safer by deploying more uniformed personnel carrying out focused police operations.
