2 killed in separate stabbing incident

TWO constructi­on workers died while several others were hurt in two separate stabbing incidents in Baguio City.

Jaymark Ya-on Rosales died while on his way to the hospital after he was allegedly stabbed by his co-worker on March 23 at the constructi­on site of the Baguio Water District in Marcoville.

In a police report, the 26 – years – old Rosales, was stabbed by his co-worker Wilfredo Gatchalian Duqueza aside from Jaymark’s brother Joel.

Investigat­ion disclosed the victim and the suspect had a misunderst­anding after their work that resulted to their quarrel. Jaymark then tried to help his brother but he was stabbed on his back with a knife by Duqueza.

The victims were immediatel­y brought to the Baguio General Hospital but Jaymark was declared dead by the attending physician, while the suspect escaped after the incident.

Raymart Torres was declared dead on arrival at the BGH after he was stabbed multiple times in an altercatio­n.

In a report from the Baguio City Police Office, the stabbing incident happened at about 11:58 PM of March 25 along Upper Session Road

Initial investigat­ion disclosed Torres, together with Restlee Agsaoay Maglaya and Fernando

Sanchez Torres were having some drinks inside a bar when they had a heated argument with another group that later resulted to a brawl.

During the brawl, the still unidentifi­ed suspect stabbed the victims, wounding Torres, Maglaya and Fernando who all incurred wounds to the different parts of their body.

The suspects escaped after the incident while the case is undergoing follow-up investigat­ion.
