Pushers nabbed in anti-crime operation

FOUR drug pushers and users were successively arrested in a series of drug operations on August 21, 2018.

Wilber Tabacla Bomowey, 32, and Roland Dacus Balinang, 29, both resident of Buguias, Benguet were arrested in the act of having pot session at Pulacan Building in Abatan, Buguias.

Confiscated from their possessions were two lighters, five transparent plastic sachet with traces of suspected shabu, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

In a buy bust operation, drug pusher identified as Dentor Begay Cayat, 23, a resident of Buguias, Benguet was nabbed at Lutheran, Abatan.

Recovered items were buy bust money amounting to P1,000, a black leather purse containing suspected shabu with an estimated value of P70,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a cellular phone.

Another peddler identified as Edrian Wacangan Labisen, 24, farmer, was arrested in his residence at Guinaoang, Mankayan, Benguet.

Recovered were one heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu and cash amounting to P4,000.

Meanwhile, two minor students and residents of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan were arrested at Sitio Illeb, Nambaran,,Tabuk City, Kalinga after they were flagged down while onboard a motorcycle for possession of illegal drugs.

Confiscated items were dried marijuana leaves placed on a sando bag, dried marijuana leaves wrapped with paper, two disposable lighters, two cellphones and cash amounting to P2,000.
