La Trinidad District holds math and science fair 2018

THE SCIENCE and Math Fair for La Trinidad District was held at Lubas Elementary School, La Trinidad last September 24-25, 2018 with the theme “Science and Mathematics for the people, Innovation for collective prosperity”.

Students and teachers from different schools joined the said activity to compete for the different categories namely sci-dama and damath power and water patrol level one & level two, Math and Science Quiz from grade 3 to 6, Individual and Team Science Investigatory Project (SIP) and strategic Intervention Material (SIM) for the Teacher’s category.

For sci-dama power patrol, Pagal E/S garnered the first place followed by Bahong E/ S and Bekkel E/S. For water patrol, Pagal E/ S again grabbed the first place followed by Puguis E/S and Tacdian E/S. Fot the event Fraction Damath,Puguis E/S garenered the first place while Bahong E/ S and Ambiong E/S got the second and third place respectively. The whole Damath event was also topped by Puguis E/S while La Trinidad Central School and Tacdian E/ S followed.

For Math quiz grade 3, Benguet SPED was declared first while Buyagan E/S and Puguis E/S had the second and third place respectively. Tawang E/S garnered the first place in the grade 4 math quiz followed by Puguis E/S and Balili E/S. For Grade 5 math quiz, Wangal E/S, Puguis E/ S and La Trinidad Central School placed first, second and respectively. For Grade 6 math quiz level, Buyagan E/S grabbed the first place followed by La Trinidad Central School and Tawang E/S.

In the science quiz category, grade 3 level winners were Benguet SPED, Buyagan and Puguis E/S; grade 4 level winners were Buyagan E/S, Ambiong E/S and Benguet SPED; grade 5 level winners were Benguet SPED, Buyagan and Wangal E/S; and for grade 6 level, the winners were Benguet SPED, La Trinidad Central School and Pico E/S.

Individual Science Investigatory Project (SIP) was garnered by Balili E/S while the second and third place were grabbed by Puguis E/S while Team SIP first and third was taken by Puguis E/S while Balili E/S got the second.

Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) Science for the Teacher’s category grade 4 and 5 level were garnered by Buyagan E/S while in the grade 6 level it was grabbed by La Trinidad Central School, Puguis and Buyagan E/S got the second and third place while Math SIM grade 4 was taken by Buyagan E/S.

All the first place winners will represent La Trinidad District for the Division Level.
