LCMCo COMREL staff presents SDMP budget for Barangay Colalo
THE community relation staff of Lepanto Consolidated Mining Company presented the SDMP share of Barangay Colalo to the barangay officials and representatives from each sitio and DepEd representative, Janera S. Lanso-an last October 3, 2018.
COMREL staff presented that 17 Lepanto Educational Assistant Plan (LEAP) grantees were supported by LCMCo last School Year 2017-2018 which 6 of them graduated with ?6,000.00 educational assistant per semester. LEAP grantees this school year will be receiving a total of ?39,000.00 in a year. They allocated higher amount to lessen the surveyed problems of insufficient amount leading to drop out.
For the infrastructure project, the group were betwixt between two priorities of securing the gymnasiums strengths by putting bleachers and water system. This budget of SDMP (Social Development and Management Program) is LCMCo’s obedience to Administrative order no. 201021 Republic Act no. 7942 “Philippine Mining Act”. Colalo being considered as one of the host barangay for having the dam in it has a budget of 10% where these above details are being used.
Together, they concluded to a decision that what was in the 5 year plan which is Water System from Busan to Baguyos be prioritized with a budget of ?1,204,428.42.
The Colalo Elementary School Gymnasium with a total cost of ?4,475,849.88 has now complete roofing ready for use. Added to this, are ?500,000.00 from the province and ?19,075.00 beneficiaries’ counterpart.
