Fire razes old house in city

A ONE storey wooden house in Cam­das Sub­di­vi­sion was gut­ted by fire from un­known ori­gin in the evening of Novem­ber 7.

Ini­tial in­ves­ti­ga­tion by fire mar­shals re­vealed the fire broke out at 8:30 p.m. from the shanty of Re­nato Clarin Jereos, 53 year­sold, sin­gle, con­struc­tion worker which even­tu­ally spread out to the wooden house owned by Joey Sing­son Rulla, 49, mar­ried, busi­ness­man, and a res­i­dent No. 131 Purok 5, Up­per Cam­das.

Per­son­nel of Baguio City Po­lice Sta­tion 2 to­gether with Mo­bil Pa­trol Unit(MPU), City Mo­bil F o r c e Com­mand(CMFC), Bureau of Fire Pro­tec­tion (BFP), and fire vol­un­teers im­me­di­ately re­sponded and de­clared the fire out at around 9:26 by Se­nior Fire Of­fi­cer 2 Mario Ba­songan.

A civil­ian vol­un­teer iden­ti­fied as Mark An­thony Guz­man, a res­i­dent of no. 94 Mid­dle Quirino Hill, Baguio City was in­jured dur­ing the in­ci­dent and was rushed to the Baguio Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal and Med­i­cal Cen­ter.
