Fire razes old house in city
A ONE storey wooden house in Camdas Subdivision was gutted by fire from unknown origin in the evening of November 7.
Initial investigation by fire marshals revealed the fire broke out at 8:30 p.m. from the shanty of Renato Clarin Jereos, 53 yearsold, single, construction worker which eventually spread out to the wooden house owned by Joey Singson Rulla, 49, married, businessman, and a resident No. 131 Purok 5, Upper Camdas.
Personnel of Baguio City Police Station 2 together with Mobil Patrol Unit(MPU), City Mobil F o r c e Command(CMFC), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and fire volunteers immediately responded and declared the fire out at around 9:26 by Senior Fire Officer 2 Mario Basongan.
A civilian volunteer identified as Mark Anthony Guzman, a resident of no. 94 Middle Quirino Hill, Baguio City was injured during the incident and was rushed to the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.
QUICK RESPONSE. Firefighters from the Baguio Fire Department work together to put out a fire which razed a one storey wooden house and a shanty in Camdas Subdivision.
