Barangay Bedbed conducts children’s congress

BARANGAY Bedbed conducted children’s congress with a theme “Tamang Pag-aaruga sa Lahat ng Bata” on November 26, 2018 at the Barangay Hall, Bedbed, Mankayan, Benguet.

The Children’s Congress were participated by the Appas Child Development Center, Baay Child Development Center, Proper Bedbed Child Development Center and Payeo Child Development Center with their parents and the Barangay Officials.

Mr. Nicolas Galatic, Barangay Kagawad gave his message on how to take care of the children. He challenged and inspired the parents to love and lead their children in a good way for them to become professionals someday and assets in the family. He emphasized that parents are leaving legacy to their children. He cited pencil and eraser as an example. Thus, parents should always there to direct, guide and lead their children as they commit mistakes.

The judges and the Children entertained the audience through their songs, action songs, and dances.

Moreover, during the program the children together with their parents actively participated and showed their innate skills and talents in coloring category and Child-Parent Tandem. All the participants were given prizes and certificates that was solicited from the Barangay Officials and the parents.

The winners will represent the Barangay to the Municipal Level.
