Ca-ew yearly sport fest

“TIMPOYOG Di ECaew” is the main theme of the yearly sport fest of the community at Ca-ew Elementary School, Caew, Bulalacao, Mankayan, Benguet.

The other purposed of the said fest are to strengthen peace and cooperation of the community, develop physical fitness and self-discipline of all athletes, to maintain good relationship of all the people in the community and to boast selfconfidence.

The Ca-ew Basketball Association (CBA) was the organizer of the yearly community activities headed by Mr. Mayo T. Nalicao the president of the association planned the activities. They started last October and will end on the 31st of December.

Six teams were organized from the different sitios of Ca-ew (Baliw-ang, Colong, Dekdek, Kopkopit, Manaba and Salento). Five games were already played between the teams.

All the teams wanted to garner the crown but only one team will bag the championship trophy. The championship will be played on the 31st of December followed by the search for Miss Ca-ew 2019 in the evening. The teams have their own muses to represent them.

The CBA organizers are expecting the continuous support from the players, people in the community, barangay officials and youth so that the purpose of the said activity will be attained.
