IT’S better to give than to receive; it’s a cliché, I cannot think of nowadays, if it’s worth re solving for. Ompong, Rosita, several concert for a cause, voluntary contributions to help out colleagues, and not to mention godson, nephews and even caroling neighbors are just some things one have taught these holidays. What will a three thousand anniversary bonus do? But the most controversial is a fifty peso compulsory ticket from the association of supervisors and heads whom we know are better salaried. But I believed, the more tickets I will buy, the more energy, the supervisors and heads will have in lobbying at city hall for the return of social funds meant for public school teachers. So I wanted ten nevertheless, they only gave me one; I was disheartened. Thus, to whoever politicians wanting to see dreadful faces this Deped day, better think a thousand times. You can come with promises, explanations and other lips services or moral supports, yet in the end you, know what the public school teachers need right now.
And to those who are asking, if Jack took that yellow bill in the box, the answer is he didn’t. Jack pretended to have that yellow bill out; and with his personal money, he bought food for lunch. He still have, either that fear of being caught with his hands in the cookie jar or that little pride that he may have; he can buy food for the two of them. While having the lunch break, the senior mentor said “jack there are so many things you need to learn, just watch and don’t be too shy to ask”. Money, property, positions, promotions or relationships in the teaching profession, I have a lot of it in my coffer. Here at city high? Jack asked. Absolutely, you can even open a can of worm if you like. Just make it sure that you have that strong stomach.
