ARIES (March 21-April 19): Your train of thought chugs along from here to there and back again today. You may feel like your covering a lot of ground or peering at a puzzle from every angle. But time after time, you arrive right back where you started. Let your mind freely roam and see where it goes when not confined to one preset track. What you discover by following a whim might not only be inspirational but financially promising, too.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): What initially looks like a terrific shortcut could prove to be a disappointing dead-end street. If the surefire way to achieve the results your after is by taking the tried-and-true route, it’s only sensible to follow it. Sure, it’s exciting to blaze a trail, but not if it leads you nowhere. You’re all about making the best use of your time today, which you can accomplish by shying away from guesswork and applying the lessons of experience.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): It might seem like your witnessing a mirage today. As soon as you spy the goalpost or finish line, it moves a little farther away. Not that any such challenge bothers you much. You’re too busy enjoying the journey to be overly hung up about the ultimate destination. Your versatility and unflappable demeanor earn special attention from a boss or love interest, too.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): Do your best to wrap your mind around a commitment. There are some responsibilities that go with the program, whether in love, business, or family. If you’re clear about what you hope for from yourself and of another, you can open a discussion with greater confidence. It’s impossible to follow rules or live up to expectations if you don’t know what they are now.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Adopt a philosophical approach toward a disruption of your routine if you can today. Perhaps this is a reminder from the universe that not everything is strictly about you. By searching for a larger sense of meaning, an exploration is launched and where you once saw interruption or inconvenience, adventure can be espied.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Sort out the pros and cons of a proposal like a champion today. If anybody can cut through nonsense and illusions, it is you. Former Indian Prime Minister Nehru said, Facts are facts and will not disappear on account of your likes. Or dislikes. You’re fully capable of pushing personal feelings to the side and proceeding in a dispassionate spirit of equity. Some might grimace at your findings, others jump for joy. Whatever reaction you receive, it’s the nitty-gritty truth that you’re after and nothing more.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): The desire to nest and nurture isn’t solely expressed within the walls of your own dwelling today. In fact, you take your emotional security with you wherever you travel. The urge to beautify your surroundings, to make yourself and others as comfortable as possible, and experience empathy as an instinctual reaction are all unusually sensitized. Your popularity is magnetic, since your very presence is soothing. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Word games can be extra fun today, and you’re likely to be unusually clever at them, too. But that’s only for entertainment purposes, for your patience runs short when it comes to people who muddy the waters with semantics. With your sharp powers of perception, it’s easy enough for you to see right through someone who is playing fast and hard with the truth. But on the flip side, one who tells it like it is could become your next best friend or love interest. Honesty earns respect.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): You sense deep down inside that you’re ready to buckle up and do some serious time-management calculations. There are areas where you might be able to get more from your efforts, especially where the ins and outs of earning a living are concerned. Nevertheless, there are only twenty-four hours in a day, so it’s only natural to want to squeeze the most from each one of them, at work, at school, and at home. Conscientious planning can help you do just that today. Streamline for the sake of efficiency. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You need to overcome some kneejerk skepticism if you want to derive the maximum amount of benefit from your activities today. You have every right to be cautious if you’re starting a new job, exercise program, course of therapy, or other healthy venture. Stick a toe in the water before diving in headfirst, if that helps. But don’t let unwarranted doubts or unfounded suspicions stop you from making progress. Have faith in your decision-making abilities. Your common sense won’t let you down.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Something out of the ordinary catches your eye and stirs your imagination today. Maybe it’s an optical illusion, an otherworldly encounter, or a remnant of a vivid dream. No matter how hard it is pin down exactly what it is that’s got you so intrigued, it can certainly contribute to awesome speculation and lively discussion. Others are quick to chime in with tales of their own unusual experiences. It’s wonderful to be reminded that there’s so much amazing mystery in life. Magic is in the eye of the beholder.

PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar 20): It’s ever so relaxing to let your mind wander to thoughts of past love or future adventure, to curiosities large and small, or even to basic matters like what to have for dinner. But no matter how far your imagination meanders today, reality has a zillion attention-grabbing ways of calling you back to its well-defined realm. Choose responsibilities over fantasies if push comes to shove. Stay focused when it counts. Ben Franklin said, a place for everything, everything in its place.
