GV cultural exchange visits BES

YESHUA Hope of the Gifted Church are with the members of Global Ventures (GV) cultural exchange from United States came to invite our students and teachers of Buyagan Elementary School (BES) for the Northern Youth Fest on Dec. 3 to 4, 2019 at 5:50 PM at Benguet Sports Complex and on Dec. 4, 2019 at 3 PM will be the La Trinidad Children Festival at the same venue.

This team have done cultural exchange presentati­ons in over 20 countries such as Thailand, Peru, Nepal, India and Ethiopia.

The team including a clown teach English and moral values to students through short plays and conversati­on. They encourage students to have a greater awareness of the importance of leadership and moral values. The students had fun designed around a cultural exchange program. They also teach the children how to say simple words in English. The clown brings visual props and “Bubbles” the clown to interact and help teach.

The main purpose is to share a message of hope and purpose with all the students.

After their presentati­on, the students from grade one to six not only have a deeper understand­ing of American

Culture, but also are encouraged to live a life of purpose and value by making good choices for their lives.

After the show, each of the student and teachers including parents who were present were given a free ticket for the show and a book entitled “Mga Kwentong Pambata, Aklat ng Pagasa.” (Children literature, book of hope). Our school was also given a water filter.
