Police arrests 12 in one day
SOME 12 individuals were arrested December 5 following the intensified implementation of enhanced managing police operation (EMPO) of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
Police Colonel Allen Rae Co, BCPO city director said one individual was arrested for violation of RA 10591(Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunitions Regulation Act), three in separate buy-bust operations and eight with warrants of arrest.
In a report of BCPO Station 4, joint operatives of Station 4, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group - Mt. Province and Criminal Investigation Unit of the BCPO arrested Santiago Calusin Regidor, 62, married, businessman and residing at the Barangay Kias, Baguo City for violation of RA 10591.
The suspect was arrested following the implementation of a search warrant issued by the First Judicial Region of Burgos, Pangasinan dated December 2.
Recovered from Regidor is a fire arm registration for a caliber .45 pistol model 1911-A1, serial number BA40304-13246PH13 with expiry date March 20, 2019 but the confiscated pistol bears serial number BA40305-13246-PH13
BCPO also arrested three suspected drug pushers in separate buy busts operations.
Casanguan Satta, 34, native of Marawi City and resident of City Camp Lagoon sold a sachet of alleged shabu weighing at least 2.5 grams worth P8,000.00 to a Drug Enforcement Unit operative at 8:50 p.m. along Cypress Road, Irisan.

caya who sold a sachet of shabu weighing at least 0.3 grams worth P5,000 pesos to an operative of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit who acted as buyer at about 2:50 a.m. along General Luna Road.
Restie Velasques Claveria, 28, jobless, and a resident of Purok 15, Irisan was nabbed when he sold a sachet of shabu weighing at least 0.3 grams worth P1,000 to an operative of Station 9 who posed as buyer at about 11:50 p.m. at Purok 15, Irisan.
Eight arrests were also made by BCPO for various violations.
