BEFORE examinees troop to the 44 testing centers in the country for the upcoming Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination, health protocols should also be followed.

The one-day examination scheduled August 30 will be rescheduled August 26 to October 3 in the different testing centers nationwide including Baguio City.

With the Covid-19 pandemic, Major Cheryl Tindog, PMA Spokesperson said the military academy had to make adjustments to ensure that all applicants and personnel will be safe.

Tindog added the academy will follow the guidelines set forth by the national and local Inter

Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

The military academy on Monday added each testing center will be allocated with four days to administer the examination to qualified applicants while the number of examinees shall not exceed 50% of the sitting capacity of the venue to be able to observe physical distancing.

PMA added proctor teams of each testing center will reach out to their respective examinees and inform them on their scheduled date of examinations during the four day period.

“Examination permits may now be downloaded from the online system. Permits for mail applicants will be emailed. Honor student-applicants will present their special permits to the proctors in any testing center nearest them,” Tindog said.

When entering the testing centers, examinees must secure with them a health declaration form from their locality and a medical certificate or clearance for their municipal or city health office.

The examinees are asked to coordinate with their respective local government units on the possible restrictions on your movement to the examination venue, and on other important measures to be complied.

For walk-in applicants they may only be entertained on the last day of examination period in a testing center.
