P50K shabu seized in drug den raid

MORE THAN P50,000 worth of shabu were confiscate­d by antinarcot­ics agents in an early morning operation September 29.

Operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcemen­t Agency in the Cordillera Administra­tive Region (PDEACAR) together with the Police Regional Office Cordillera arrested a drug queen and her five costumers during a raid in Central Fairview, Baguio City.

Suspected drug queen Anna- Lyn Lee was arrested by agents of PDEA Baguio after she agreed to sell shabu to an undercover agent.

Confiscate­d from the suspect are illegal drugs worth P51,0000 and other drug parapherna­lia.

Five drug users identified John Michael Abalos, 22, from Santa Barbara, Pangasinan; Rodel Balmores, 19, from Cauayan, Isabela and Mark Roan Anthony Reyes, 19, from San Manuel, Tarlac, including two teenage girls from La Trinidad, Benguet and Baguio City were also collared during the operation.

PDEA said Lee took over the drug dealing business of her deceased brother by serving drugs, mostly to teenagers, in her residence at Central Fairview.

In the evening of September 28, a teenage girl who is said to come from a drug dealing family with a long history of notoriety in Baguio City was caught by agents of PDEA Baguio in a sting operation.

The 19- year- old teener, from Fairview, Baguio City was arrested after she sold a packet of shabu to an undercover agent in Quirino Hill, Baguio City.

Recovered from her possession were several drugs and parapherna­lia.

Meanwhile, P3,840,000 marijuana plants were uprooted anew in Bugnay, Tinglayan, Kalinga from September 25 to 27, 2020.
