PH hosts “Kumpulan”—Online conversation on culture and arts NATIONAL COMMISION FOR CULTURE AND THE ARTS
THE PHILIPPINES, through the National Commission for Culture and the Arts ( NCCA) in partnership with the Kalimudan Culture and Arts Center Association, Inc., will host the online conversation on culture and arts of Brunei
Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines
(BIMP) on Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. Dubbed as “Kumpulan:
Connecting Cultures in BIMP-East
ASEAN Growth
Area ( EAGA)
Amidst the Ongoing Pandemic”, the webinar will be streamed live via
FB page of Budayaw.
The online conversation seeks to share information about the accomplishments of the culture and arts sector amidst the pandemic. The challenges aced, including the plans for the next two years will also be presented by each member-countries. As for the Philippines, Mindanao and Palawan will share their updates about the said information. Participants of this online conversation are secondary and college students. Local artists are also invited to take part in the conversation.

Arts Awake test is initiated for young students. Entries will be presented online. After the discussions and presentations of each BIMP member country, fun and games will follow with the trivia questions. Cellphone load and exciting prizes shall be given to the winners.
A member agency of the BIMP-EAGA SocioCultural Education Pillar, the NCCA is tasked to spearhead the implementation of the cultural programs in partnership with relevant agencies in Mindanao and Palawan.
