-

THE CITY Council passed a resolution requesting the business establishments in the city with outdoor/ indoor visual monitors or LCD signboards to play, promote, and display vital information and updates relative to the programs of the city government.

Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda, main author of the resolution, said such equipment can be utilized for the said purpose as part of the business establishments’ social responsibility.

Tabanda commended the Public Information Office of the city government for constantly posting updates on social media. However, utilizing other possible outlets would improve the public’s reception of information, she said.

Further, the resolution requests the Public Information Office to take charge in supplying information and updates to the business establishments which will be flashed in their visual monitors/ LCD signboards.

The business establishments will be furnished a copy of the resolution after it is signed by Mayor Benjamin Magalong. Baguio City Council release
