Oro bars World Cup fans can enjoy live telecast

WITH the NBA season finally over, football or soccer—one of the world’s

most popular sports-is now in everybody’s attention with the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018 hosted by Russia.

The games officially opened with Russia and Saudi Arabia providing the preliminar­y show.

Oro football fans can have their own way watching the games live on screen.

Those who have no cable connection­s can watch through live broadcast off ABS CBN’s sports and action segment, or even Liga among other sports channels.

Terrazo Bar and Grill near Divisoria are viewing the live telecast of the games with beers and foods at the table, open from 5 pm to 4 am.

Two resto bars inside Lifestyle District are also viewing the live telecast of the games.

Neighborin­g Junno and Bistrot de Paris are welcoming all football fans to watch the games.

Magis Football Club reportedly considered Junno as their base ground to watch the month-long games.

“Last year, we had watch at Junno’s place but we will also try at its neighbor Bistrot,” said Dhon Lazo, member of the Magis Club and currently the coach of Xavier University High School.

Bistrot de Paris, on the other hand, had just got its cable connection mainly for the World Cup.

“Bistrot had it just for the occasion and we are expecting tourists from different nationalit­ies SUPPLIED PHOTOS to watch,” said Lifestyle District supervisor Michael “Andoy” Valerio.

Lazo said fans are expected to bring different national flaglets when they take sides on whose country is facing each other.

Lazo advised fans and viewers that it is best to watch in group or with a common company hooked in football games.
