Guv turns over infra projects to LGUs
Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano on Monday, August 20, turned over some P45 million worth of road concreting project and another P4 million aid for municipal empowerment in Initao town.
Emano led the groundbreaking of the 3-kilometer road concreting project that would connect barangays Kamelon to Sinalac with 6.10 square meters width.
“Para gyud masigo ang mga dagkong sakyanan, ”Emano said, adding that the project is expected to finish in 125 days.
The governor said this is the fifth town where road concreting project is implemented. The other four is in Jasaan, Manticao, Opol, and Claveria with a total budget of P618 million.
Emano said more road concreting projects will be implemented in the towns of Kinoguitan and Magsaysay.
“Para kini sa atong mga kaigsonan nga sayon ang ilang pagbyahe ilabi na sa paghatod sa ilang mga abot sa uma ngadto sa mga kamerkadohan,” Emano said.
The capitol’s top official also turned over to the local government unit some P4 million worth of park and playground repair works of the town through the governor’s municipal empowerment program.
Emano said it would be the town mayor who will implement the project.
“LGU atong gitagaan sa responsibilidad sa pag-implementar sa project. Ang atong municipal empowerment walay pili kini ang problema lang kung ang LGU babag ug dili mocooperate,”Emano said.
