ALS LEARNERS OF BALINGASAG RECEIVE NOTEBOOKS FROM SAP BONG GO
Former SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT, SECRETARY BONG GO, represented by VICE GOVERNOR JOEY G. PELAEZ, distributed hundreds of writing materials in various public schools in the Province of Misamis Oriental without let up.
Recently, Vice Governor Pelaez visited Balingasag, Misamis Oriental to personally give notebooks to the learners of Alternative Learning System (ALS) enrolled in Baliwagan National High School.
As an advocate for education, Vice Governor Pelaez took the opportunity to encourage the learners to finish schooling despite life’s obstacles. He also advised the learners to study and improve on their English proficiency, spelling and vocabulary because it can be used as an edge in applying for a job or in working abroad.
The activity saw the active participation of Municipal Mayor MARRIETTA ROA-ABOGADO, School Principal MARYLEN TRAPAL, ALS Focal Person JOCELYN HOVER, Barangay 4 Poblacion Chairman ROSITO VEGA, Barangay 1 Poblacion Chairman CHASTITY DACUP, Barangay 2 Councilors RUDY OLANO and DANTE VALMORES, Barangay 3 Councilor SANDRA JUNI, Barangay 5 Councilor REBECCA MONTES, Barangay Balagnan Councilor JOSE ORAN, JR., Barangay Mandangoa Councilor FRANCIS TAYTAY, Barangay Linggangao Councilor RENATO FERNANDEZ and Barangay Blanco Councilor ENRIQUITA ALABA.
