Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano has turned-over three container office vans useful for the implementation of the joint military and police security checkpoints in the province last Monday, February 11.

The container office vans will be positioned at the security checkpoints in El Salvador City and Agusan highway in Cagayan de Oro City to give government security personnel manning the checkpoints the comfort while securing the province and the city against threat groups.

The other container van will be placed at the Capitol grounds and is ready to be used as command center for rescue and retrieval operations for any emergency situation or calamities that may hit anywhere in the province.

Emano has backed the security measures implemented by the military and the police to ensure lawless elements could not sneak into the province to sow fear and terror, following the recent explosions in some areas in Mindanao.

The said container vans are all air-conditioned and are equipped with communication devices such as radios, television and base radios.

Emano said he will always support the government security forces in fighting terrorism and criminality. Alwen Saliring
