USAID conducts workshop on social media promotion
A social media promotion workshop was conducted by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to further promote the online payment system of Cagayan de Oro City.
The USAID has focused on the marketing campaign of the city through disseminating information regarding the different transactions in the city hall, particularly its tax billing and online payment, to the workshop’s attendees, which includes the
residents of different barangays in the city.
The online tax payment and billing system of Cagayan de Oro City Hall can be accessed at www.cagayandeoro.gov.ph, the official website of the city.
The new system aims to provide convenience to tax payers and businessmen of the city when they redeem their business permit or pay their real property tax, business tax, and other fees which includes the building fees, traffic violation and market stall rental payment.
It can also be used by taxpayers to determine their tax dues without going to the City Hall for computations.
Other participants were personnel from the City Treasurer’s Office, Office of the Building Official, Roads and Traffic Administration, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department, City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office, Oro Youth Development Council, City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, Oro Trade and Investment Promotions Center, City Social Welfare and Development, City Information Office, among others.
