Readers share how they’re spending summer

Just a few more days until we say goodbye to skies of gray and say hello to skies of blue. Though students are the most excited for this season to come because it simply means no more school work for them, working professionals should also take a little break, hang loose and take pleasure in one of these sun-filled and warm breeze days ahead. This summer, I just want to be in the water as much as possible. I've always had a fascination for sea creatures since I was a kid. I really want to go island hopping, snorkeling or maybe even get a scuba certification this summer. My birthday is in May so I'll make sure to celebrate at the beach.

Spend a day at the beach, pack our bags for the entire week, lie down under the sun, take a splash in the water or build a campfire for two with s'mores. It's a great way to spend quality time with the one I love.

This year, summer will be a blast! I plan to officially launch my photography studio, Urban Studio. It will be a summer full of shoots, less sleep, a bit of stress but it should be worth it. I won’t forget family time as well. Summer will be a great way to shoot outdoors or simply be at the beach with my wife and kid. Boom!

Summer is a season of beaching and partying for most, but not for me. I plan to focus on my studies and get advanced classes. Hopefully I’ll manage to make more time for my family and self, too. I simply want to prioritize the things and people who matter most to me.

Summer is the best time for enrichment and relaxation. Other than sipping a glass of mojito by the beach, refining my language skills by learning Japanese and Turkish is one of my plans. Also, my friends are very spontaneous, whether it's a short dip in the pool or a weekend stay in a remote island, I'm always good to go.
