‘Arrow’ role is pivotal
Torchwood star John Barrowman has hinted at his role on the superhero drama Arrow will be pivotal, Rex Features reported.
The TV host and actor will play a “mysterious” and “wealthy” man on the new series, which is based on DC’s Green Arrow comics.
“More is going to be revealed about him, but he’ll be pivotal to the programme,” Barrowman told fans at Fan Expo Canada. He added: “I’m glad I’m going into another realm of sci-fi and fantasy. It’s time to create another cool character.”
Arrow debuts on The CW network in the US on Oct. 10. Sky1 has picked up the rights to air the series in the UK.
