Soiree Beaujolais 2012 at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu
On Nov. 24, ease into the extravagant world of Monte Carlo as Marco Polo Plaza brings you Soiree Beaujolais 2012. Be part of one of Cebu's prestigious and most awaited social events as lovers of wine come up to Nivel Hills to enjoy music, abundant amounts of Beaujolais Nouveau and treasured culinary delights of France.
With this year's theme, “Monte Carlo,” the Marco Polo Plaza Grand Ballroom will be abuzz with excitement as it becomes transformed into a casino. Magicians flown all the way from France will provide world-class entertainment as you get lost in their spellbinding acts.
Guests will also enjoy superb entertainment by one of the most popular names in Philippine show business, TV host and singer Giselle Sanchez and then swing to the music of On the Cover band. The event will be hosted by the country's top celebrity host Johnny Litton.
The tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau was first brought to Philippine shores in 1994, held in Manila where it continues to draw even bigger crowds of wine lovers every year since. In 2007, the Beaujolais Nouveau was brought to Cebu for the first time.
In keeping with tradition, Soiree Beaujolais at the Marco Polo Plaza will feature the uncorking of Le Beaujolais Nouveau, free flowing wines and dinner buffet with a wide range of French cuisine and desserts. There will also be lots of outstanding raffle prizes including a chance to win 60,000 worth of Asia Miles to any chosen destination. Cheeses are also coming from far and wide within France and to give more meaning to all the characters of the large cheese assortment, Master-Cheesemaker Richard Poirier graces the occasion.
Tickets are priced at P2,200, for an entire evening of excellent food, fine cheeses, great wines and resounding entertainment whilst socializing with other aficionados.
