-

DO you want to subscribe to Smart’s prepaid, postpaid, and broadband offerings without having to memorize key words? Or perhaps activate or deactivate your account’s international roaming capability with just a few clicks on your mobile device?

Now you can do all these and more with the enhanced “Smart Services” mobile application – available to all Android smartphone users for free.

The app, which can be downloaded from Google Play, gives Smart subscribers quick access to a wide array of services. Learn more about Smart’s prepaid, postpaid, and broadband offerings, and subscribe to them with a couple of clicks. Make a balance inquiry; activate your phone’s MMS, 3G, or GPRS settings; and send electronic load to your loved ones without having to remember key words or mobile numbers.

“The original Smart Services app allowed users to subscribe to Smart offerings. Now it does so much more. It gives subscribers updates on discounts, promos, and freebies. It also lets them locate the nearest Smart Store using Google Maps,” said Emmanuel Lorenzana, Smart executive vice president and head of wireless consumer division.

“We made sure that the enhanced version of the Smart Services app would be feature-packed. This app enables Smart subscribers to find the information they need right at their fingertips, and to complete different kinds of transactions quickly and conveniently. Best of all, they can do these anytime and anywhere they want,” he added.

Other features of the enhanced Smart Services app include:

• Links to video tutorials about different smartphones

• Downloadable mu- sic, ring tunes, and music videos

• Downloadable action, sports, movie-based, and arcade games

• Latest news and entertainment happenings

“We understand that mobile phones are no longer just communication devices. People are increasingly using their phones to access content. We kept this in mind while developing the app to best address the needs of our subscribers and help them Live More,” Lorenzana said.
