CAFC urges club to submit gallery

-

TO avoid disputes on players’ ages, organizers of the Cebu Amateur Football Club will ask teams to submit a gallery of their players with NSO certificates as proof of their age.

CAFC President Greg Balsicas said the gallery has been part of their requirement but was not strictly imposed. This time, to avoid disputes on the players’ ages, they will require all teams to submit the gallery. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate.

“Amo ning i-impose sa mga coaches para mahimong basehan if naa bay mureklamo para dali ra maresolve,” said Balsicas.

Aside from this matter, the protest fee of P500 was also discussed and was approved by the attendees of the first coaches’ meeting.

Although only 15 club coaches and representatives showed up because some teams are preparing for the Palarong Pambansa, a number of teams had already confirmed verbally.

Ormoc FC has already given its word that it will send teams in the 15-Under and 18-Under.

Organizers are now working on helping outside teams find a place to stay in the city.

Since they can’t use the Cebu City Sports Center dormitory because of the ongoing renovation and Abellana National School might not be available because of the Brigada Eskwela activity, they are looking at dormitories instead for the visiting teams.
